RE: Custom Residence, Eagle County, Colorado
Scope of Work: Hybrid Ceiling Insulation

There is no need to sequence all the insulation until after rough-in inspections are complete. We installed the ceiling foam at this residence after dry-in/roofing was complete and prior to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems being installed. By sequencing the insulation install in this manner the builder saves time on the schedule and extra expenses associated with protecting lights, sprinkler pipe, plumbing fixtures, and other fixtures that may be located in the joist cavity. The polyurethane foam is more consistent.

Top Right: Once the 2 pound closed cell polyurethane spray foam is installed we balance the remaining R value required by code with fiberglass batt insulation.

Bottom Right: The foam is nicely installed over the HVAC duct work.
